Raytheon is seeking a Material Program Manager (MPM) in support of the Naval Air Missile (NAM) Product Line for a development program that will be designing and manufacturing the Next Generation AIM-9X. This role requires prior experience in subcontract systems, material requirements planning (MRP) process, project management, subcontract management, developing mitigation strategies, and proposal activities. In this role, the candidate will apply existing experience of supply chain, material requirement planning, and business acumen within a matrixed organization. You will develop and lead a material program strategy/plan for programs or integrated product teams. Additionally, you will participate in proposals by developing and leading supply chain proposal activities including task descriptions and basis of estimates and participating in gate review preparation and/or support activities and assists with the generation of the Supplier Statement of Work (SSOW). This position is an onsite role located in Tucson, Arizona. What You Will Do: Principles, concepts, industry practices and standards related to MRP planning systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle and other next generation ERP systems) Working closely with Program Management, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Engineering, Quality, Production Control and Procurement to ensure successful supplier management and execution in supporting program needs and requirements Master Data, MRP Scheduling and Material Sales Forecasting Customer Proposal generation Develop and execute Material Strategies which support Customer requirements and meet Program objectives Generating Supplier Request for Proposals / Quotes (RFP’s / RFQ’s) Financial management (i.e., EV, budgets, targets, working capital, proposals, material sales forecasts, etc.); overall ownership of the supplier management process (i.e., Supplier Risk/Opportunity Management Plan, supplier performance, metrics, international issues, develop/evaluate the make/buy strategy, the Collaborative Agreement process, etc.), and communication of customer flow-through requirements such as FAR/DFARS, ITAR, offset, public law, quality, warranty, etc. The MPM may act as the Control Account Manager. Issue/Conflict resolution within organizations, between organizations and with suppliers Generate and manage Estimate at Completion (EAC) and Risk & Opportunities (R&Os) Travel Domestically, as required Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience Experience in supply chain and related systems, procurement, material planning, operations, cost estimating, and/or finance Experience with supplier management and/or subcontract management Experience in preparation for, and/ or support of negotiations with suppliers Experience with Risk and Opportunity Qualifications We Prefer: Experience using supply chain planning tools (i.e. SAP, Kinaxis, etc.) Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and Power Point) Experience leading in a team environment Experience working in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment. The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
