This position reports to: Head of EtO, Engineering, Tools and Processes __ Your Role and Responsibilities In the local Electrification Service business unit, we help our customers secure and extend the availability and lifetime of their electrical assets. Our focus is on service solutions for low- and medium-voltage switchgear, emergency power systems, and digital solutions. We combine technical expertise, a strong service mindset, and close collaboration with our customers. As a Service Sales Support Specialist, you will apply your technical knowledge to develop customer quotations and service solutions. Ideally, you bring practical experience with switchgear or power distribution systems. You will analyze customer requests, clarify technical requirements, and define suitable service solutions. In doing so, you ensure that proposals are technically feasible, commercially competitive, and clearly structured. You will work closely with Service Sales, Project Management, Engineering, and Field Service teams while contributing to the continuous improvement of our quotation process. The work model for this role is: #hybrid Your Responsibilities Analyze customer inquiries and quotation requests for service, retrofit, and modernization solutions related to electrical switchgear. Define the scope of work, main components, and service deliverables based on technical requirements and practical feasibility. Assess technical feasibility and solution availability in close collaboration with Engineering, Project Management, and Field Service teams. Prepare cost calculations and technical sales documentation to support competitive and risk-conscious customer proposals. Qualifications for the Role Technical education in electrical engineering or equivalent hands-on experience in a technical environment; further education at technician (TS/HF), university of applied sciences (FH), or university level is an advantage. Practical experience with low-voltage or medium-voltage switchgear, for example in assembly, commissioning, service, engineering, retrofit, or project execution, is highly valued. Strong technical understanding of electrical power distribution, switchgear components, and customer-focused service solutions. Interest in techno-commercial topics and the ability to translate technical requirements into clear and economically sound customer proposals. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience with cost calculations, quotation processes, or costing models is beneficial. Independent, structured, team-oriented, and customer-focused working style, with good German and English communication skills or French and English communication skills.
