The work:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to support application validation efforts. Collaborate with developers, analysts, and product teams to gather test requirements and understand expected system behavior. Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios aligned with business and technical specifications. Execute both automated and manual test cycles as needed to ensure robust coverage. Identify, document, and track defects; partner with engineering teams for timely resolution. Maintain, update, and refactor existing automated regression suites as applications evolve. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring tests run consistently across environments. Contribute to ongoing test process improvements, recommending enhancements to frameworks, tools, and methodologies. Support validation activities during deployments, ensuring smooth rollout of new features. Analyze test results and provide clear, actionable feedback to development and product teams.
Here's what you need:
- Must have 2+ years hands-on experience in automated testing.
- Ability to design, implement, and execute automated test cases using established frameworks (Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, etc.).
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, testing processes, and best practices.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) and version control systems such as Git.
- Understanding of test framework architecture and reusable component design for scalable automation.
- Experience working within Agile or iterative development environments.
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Active top secret clearance required.
Bonus / Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Pega or Pega-specific automation tools (such as PegaUnit).
- Familiarity with test management tools and CI systems (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Experience integrating automation into continuous deployment pipelines.
- Background in testing enterprise-level or complex distributed applications.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience improving test coverage or automation efficiency.

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below.
