The Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) organization within RTX drives business success by providing a variety of critical engineering services across product lines and functions. We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time position of Test Solutions Principal Control Account Manager, located onsite in Tucson, Arizona. You will play a critical role in ensuring the successful integration of cost, schedule, and technical performance for assigned control accounts. You will collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to validate technical progress, manage financial performance, and support the achievement of program objectives. This position requires a disciplined approach to program execution and a strong understanding of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles. What You Will Do: Manage assigned control accounts from planning through execution and closure, ensuring alignment with program objectives. Collaborate with engineering teams to define and validate completion criteria for technical tasks. Monitor technical progress, identify variances, and implement corrective actions as needed. Develop and maintain control account plans, budgets, schedules, and work authorizations in accordance with program and EVMS guidelines. Analyze performance data, trends, and risks to provide timely insights into cost and schedule status. Prepare and deliver control account performance updates for program reviews and leadership forums. Coordinate across functional organizations to manage dependencies and interfaces, ensuring efficient program execution. Generate Basis of Estimates (BOEs), Baseline Change Requests (BCRs), and other cost/schedule artifacts to support program changes. Ensure compliance with EVMS standards and support internal and external audits of control account data. Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field and a minimum of 8 years of experience, or a minimum of 5 years of experience with an advanced degree. Experience managing technical work, cost accounts, or engineering project tasks in a structured program environment. Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles and tools. Experience with schedule management, budgeting, financial analysis, and developing program documentation. Experience presenting performance data and insights to program leadership. The ability to obtain and maintain an Interim U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications We Prefer: Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary engineering teams. Experience with development, integration, verification, validation, or sustainment of technical systems. Working knowledge of Agile methodologies or modern engineering workflow tools. Experience developing BOEs, supporting gate reviews, or leading technical change boards. Experience troubleshooting issues across cost, schedule, and technical dimensions. The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
