As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Branch Operations Manager who is passionate about leading people, developing talent, and creating an outstanding customer experience.

The ideal candidate is not simply someone who can manage daily operations, but someone who knows how to build, coach, and retain a high-performing, customer-centric team.

Key Responsibilities

People Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, mentor, and motivate branch employees while fostering a positive, customer-first culture.
• Recruit, onboard, and train employees who demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service.
• Develop structured training and coaching programs to improve product knowledge, customer interactions, and operational proficiency.
• Establish clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and hold team members accountable for performance.
• Identify opportunities for employee development, advancement, and succession planning.

Customer Experience & Branch Performance

• Champion exceptional customer service throughout every interaction and department.
• Coach employees on building strong customer relationships, solving problems, and delivering timely solutions.
• Address escalated customer concerns and turn challenges into opportunities to build customer loyalty.
• Oversee daily branch operations, including counter sales, warehouse activities, inventory coordination, and order fulfillment.
• Monitor branch performance, customer service metrics, and operational efficiency to drive continuous improvement.
• Partner with sales and company leadership to support business growth and branch profitability.

Operational Excellence

• Create an organized, efficient, and safe working environment.
• Ensure employees have the tools, training, and resources needed to succeed.
• Collaborate with inventory, purchasing, and sales teams to maintain product availability and accurate order fulfillment.
• Identify and implement improvements that strengthen customer satisfaction, employee productivity, and overall branch performance.

What We're Looking For

• Proven people leadership experience, with a demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and motivate employees.
• A genuine passion for customer service and building customer-focused teams.
• Experience successfully recruiting, onboarding, and training employees.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to establish accountability while creating a supportive, team-oriented environment.
• Experience managing branch, retail, distribution, or service operations.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to balance employee development with operational performance.
• Experience in industrial distribution, electric motors, or related industries is a plus, but not required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred

or 

• High School Diploma with 7+ years of progressive operations experience 
• 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience required
• Experience in industrial service, electric motors, or related field strongly preferred
