Job Type: Permanent Build a brilliant future with Hiscox Product Owner (Hiscox Inc., Atlanta, GA) Translate strategic objectives into actionable technological development tasks and priorities for agile delivery teams. Define and manage product backlogs aligned to business goals and user needs. Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams and end users to gather requirements and validate solutions. Prioritize features and enhancements based on value, effort and impact. Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions across the insurance lifecycle from quote, bind and issuance to service and claims. Drive adoption, measure outcomes and iterate based on performance metrics and feedback. Promote the change cycle and engage the organization and key contributors on the Change process, aiming at ensuring that the Changes executed are the most valuable for the organization. Support the Hiscox Portfolio initiatives’ progress by sharing feedback, guide analysis tasks, help build requirements and perform technological assessments alongside IT. Engage with business stakeholders to drive change, working with change requesters on the initiatives’ goals, expected output, benefits quantification and feasibility assessment. Support the Delivery Manager by planning release dates, lower environments’ mapping, release planning and resources capacity. Communicate outputs to business stakeholders across the organization, ensuring smooth adoption of changes and supporting their training, awareness and external communications. Collaborate with business stakeholders on building a Product vision, future-state set-up and long-term strategy. Work with Finance to report on team costs and benefits, ensuring the budget’s health. Work with the entire insurance value chain (quoting, underwriting, policy issuance, servicing, billing and claims); global insurance regulations and compliance; and, insurance specific, agile product ownership/management. Requires: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Civil Engineering, Risk Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field of study, plus three (3) years of experience with the entire insurance value chain (quoting, underwriting, policy issuance, servicing, billing and claims); global insurance regulations and compliance; and/or, insurance specific, agile product ownership/management. Salary: $90,000 - $150,000 per yr. Benefits: 401k w/ company match. Health insurance, vision, dental, FSA (medical, limited purpose, dependent care).
