We're looking for a Staff Technical Program Manager, Security Engineering to join Procore's Security Engineering organization. In this role, you'll lead the design and execution of large-scale, transformational programs to build and scale an agentic security fleet — an AI-driven, autonomous system that continuously identifies, prioritizes, and remediates threats across Procore's SaaS platform. Your primary goal is to drive the end-to-end delivery of this next-generation security capability, turning complex, ambiguous initiatives into coordinated programs that ship. As a Staff TPM, you'll partner with Security, Product & Technology, IT, and GRC teams to drive alignment, unblock dependencies, and keep the most consequential security programs on track. Use your program leadership, systems thinking, and ability to influence without authority to deliver a security fleet that operates at machine speed and scales with Procore's growth. This is a rare opportunity to shape the security posture of a category-defining construction tech platform from the ground up — apply today. This position reports to the Senior Director, Security Engineering and will be based in our Austin, TX office. We're looking for someone to join us immediately. What you'll do: Lead the program strategy, roadmap, and execution for Procore's agentic security fleet, coordinating work across multiple product, security, and IT teams from inception through production deployment. Define and manage program structure for complex, multi-quarter initiatives — including milestones, dependencies, risks, and escalation paths — ensuring stakeholders have clear visibility at all times. Partner with Security Engineering leadership to translate organizational security priorities into actionable programs with measurable outcomes and delivery timelines. Drive cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Legal, Privacy, and Compliance to ensure the agentic fleet meets regulatory, audit, and enterprise trust requirements. Identify and proactively resolve technical, organizational, and process blockers that impede program delivery, escalating to senior leadership when warranted. Establish and continuously improve program delivery practices, tooling, and rituals for an AI-native security team operating in a fast-moving environment. Communicate program status, risks, and decisions to executive audiences with clarity and confidence, framing technical complexity in terms of business impact. Evaluate and influence architectural and product decisions where program scope, timeline, or quality are at stake. What we're looking for: 8+ years of technical program management experience, with at least 3 years leading large-scale, cross-functional programs in a security, infrastructure, or platform engineering context. Demonstrated experience delivering transformational or greenfield programs — particularly those involving AI/ML systems, autonomous agents, or security automation — from 0 to production. Deep understanding of security engineering concepts (e.g., vulnerability management, detection and response, threat modeling, compliance frameworks) sufficient to engage credibly with senior security engineers and architects. Proven ability to lead through ambiguity, build program structure where none exists, and maintain momentum across distributed teams with competing priorities. Strong executive communication skills — written and verbal — with a track record of synthesizing complex technical programs into crisp, decision-ready updates for leadership. Experience working in or alongside engineering teams, with familiarity with model deployment pipelines, agent frameworks, or autonomous system lifecycle management. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience; PMP, CISSP, or equivalent certifications are a plus. A bias for action, high ownership, and the ability to build trust quickly across engineering, product, and security stakeholders in a fast-scaling SaaS environment. Additional Information Base Pay Range: 168,560.00 - 231,770.00 USD Annual This role may also be eligible for Equity Compensation and/or Bonus Incentive Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location. This position requires access to technology, software, and data that is controlled or restricted under U.S. law, regulation, executive order, or government contract. For Los Angeles County (unincorporated) Candidates: Procore will consider for employment all qualified applicants, including those with arrest or conviction records, in accordance with the requirements of applicable federal, state, and local laws, including the City of Los Angeles’ Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance, the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers, and the California Fair Chance Act. A criminal history may have a direct, adverse, and negative relationship on the following job duties, potentially resulting in the withdrawal of the conditional offer of employment: 1. appropriately managing, accessing, and handling confidential information including proprietary and trade secret information, as well as accessing Procore's information technology systems and platforms; 2. interacting with and occasionally having unsupervised contact with internal/external customers, stakeholders, and/or colleagues; and 3. exercising sound judgment.
