Summary The Test Engineer is responsible for the technical execution, data analysis, and troubleshooting of aero-derivative gas turbine testing. You will serve as the primary technical interface during the testing phase, ensuring that engines meet rigorous mechanical integrity, performance and quality standards while driving continuous improvement in test cell operations and safety. Key Responsibilities Lead engine testing for the LM2500 and LM6000 product lines, analysing engine performance and vibration data to confirm adherence to specifications and performance guarantees. Serve as the primary technical resource for complex issues involving test cell systems, instrumentation, and turbine anomalies — driving root-cause analysis to resolve performance or mechanical discrepancies. Develop and maintain test procedures, including commissioning, pre-checks, mapping, and test sequences, ensuring alignment with global standardisation efforts. Collaborate across functions — partnering with manufacturing engineering, shop operations, and GO (Global Operations) teams to resolve fleet-wide technical challenges and support the introduction of new products or processes. Drive operational excellence by participating in shop reviews and leading improvements in First-Pass Yield (FPY) and cycle time through Lean methodology and Kaizen-based continuous improvement. Prepare and communicate technical reports for internal and external stakeholders, providing clear, actionable insights into testing outcomes and any corrective actions taken. About You You are an experienced turbine test engineer who brings both technical depth and a collaborative mindset. You are equally comfortable digging into data and communicating findings clearly to a wide range of audiences.
