Position Purpose: The Showroom Manager is responsible for leading all showroom operations, executing sales strategies, and creating an engaging, customer-focused environment that drives sales performance and enhances the overall customer buying experience. This role ensures operational excellence, fosters a high-performing team culture, and maintains showroom standards that reflect the company's brand and commitment to exceptional service. Key Responsibilities: Manage daily showroom operations including opening/closing procedures and team delegation Lead, mentor, and train staff in effective sales and communication strategies. Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; project expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products. Ensure execution of the developed sales strategies, plans and advertising or promotional programs Merchandise and manage showroom displays; contribute to expanding product lines Collaborate with Outside Sales Reps, Sales Managers, and other Showroom Managers to develop and maintain a consistent walk-in sales experience, ensuring exceptional customer service and a seamless customer journey. Plan, organize, prioritize and distribute tasks, optimizing resources and minimizing costs Handle escalated customer issues and resolve service concerns with professionalism Maintain the showroom as a professional place of business. Develop, forecast and monitor budget and utilize operational resources. Propose innovative ideas to increase market share Assist customers with product selections Act as a role model and promote effective communication within the team Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards Actively participate in ongoing training, professional development, and future educational opportunities to enhance leadership capabilities, product knowledge, and sales effectiveness. Attend and actively contribute to accountability meetings, utilizing key performance metrics to track progress, drive results, and support organizational goals. Take orders at the sales counter and over the phone. Build relationships with customers. Ability to use company computer system to enter orders. Complete sales orders and tender cash sales. Continue developing product knowledge to assist customers with purchases. Overcome objections of prospective customers. Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports. Direct Manager/Direct Reports: May be given responsibility to manage the Inside Sales and Showroom staff Travel Requirements: N/A Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Will frequently move about inside the office to access files, office machinery, etc. Must be able to operate basic office machinery. Must be able to communicate with team and management and be able to exchange accurate information in. these situations. Constantly working in an office environment. Working Conditions: Work is primarily performed in a professional office environment. Requires extended periods of sitting, computer use, and telephone communication. Frequent use of standard office equipment, including computers, printers, copiers, and other business technology. Regular interaction with employees, customers, vendors, and other business contacts. May require occasional lifting of office supplies or materials up to 15 pounds. Ability to maintain focus and productivity while managing multiple priorities and deadlines. Minimum Qualifications: Demonstrated knowledge of building materials or construction industry preferred. Preferred Qualifications: N/A Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing or business.
