The Opportunity Customer Experience Orchestration (CXO) is a key part of Adobe’s strategy to help enterprises deliver personalized, connected customer experiences at scale. We are looking for an Engineering Manager to guide a high-achieving engineering group within Adobe Campaign. Security will be the main emphasis of this position, encompassing efforts to enhance the product’s security stance and promote security projects. This position will also offer technical and personnel leadership for essential product development, guaranteeing the delivery of scalable, dependable, and high-quality customer solutions. The Challenge As an Engineering Manager, you will direct technical implementation, support people development, and advance strategic engineering initiatives. Key areas of responsibility include: Security Leadership: Own and drive Adobe Campaign’s security strategy in an evolving threat landscape developed by frontier AI models and increasingly sophisticated attack techniques. Partner with Security and Engineering teams to identify risks, prioritize remediation, and strengthen the product’s security posture. Help advance Adobe’s security practices and capabilities to address emerging AI-related risks while ensuring the continued protection of customer data and enterprise systems. Technical Leadership: Guide architecture and technical decisions for complex, scalable, and reliable systems. People Leadership: Mentor and develop engineers, support career growth, and build a high-performing team. Engineering Excellence: Establish high standards for software quality, reliability, performance, operational excellence, and engineering practices. Product Leadership: Partner with Product, Architecture, Quality Engineering, Security, and other collaborators to translate business and customer needs into effective technical solutions. Roles and Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers. Own and complete the security charter for Adobe Campaign, including security improvements, vulnerability remediation, and collaboration with internal security organizations. Provide technical direction and oversight across the team’s engineering initiatives. Deliver scalable, reliable, and maintainable solutions through sound engineering methods and technical decision-making. Direct application security and vulnerability oversight for enterprise SaaS products, involving threat modeling, secure code review, source/sink/escape analysis, and addressing OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities. Address security vulnerabilities across native C++, server-side JavaScript, web, SOAP, and REST surfaces, including injection, broken authentication and authorization, CSRF, SSRF, XXE, XSS, and complex pre-authentication RCE chains. Partner with teams across multiple functions to define priorities, manage execution, and deliver high-quality outcomes. Identify and address technical, operational, and architectural challenges. Drive continuous improvement across engineering processes, systems, and team practices. Participate in hiring, performance management, and career development. Collaborate effectively with geographically distributed teams in a fast-paced Agile environment. Required Skills and Expertise 10+ years of software engineering experience, including experience managing engineering teams. Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, cloud architecture, architectural patterns, and modern frameworks. Strong computer science fundamentals and system build experience. Experience with AWS and/or Azure and modern engineering tools and practices. Strong programming experience in C++, Java, Python, or similar languages. Experience building scalable, reliable enterprise software. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Strong understanding of LLMs, agentic AI, and AI-assisted software development lifecycles, with the ability to boost developer efficiency, code quality, and security review efficiency. Preferred Qualifications Experience in application security, secure software development, vulnerability management, or security engineering. Experience driving security initiatives for enterprise software products. Experience with security scanning, CVE remediation, threat modeling, authentication and authorization, and security compliance. Experience working with extensive enterprise SaaS solutions. Good to Have Application security & vulnerability management for enterprise SaaS: Experience with threat modelling, secure code review, source/sink/escaper taint analysis, and remediation of OWASP Top 10 and related vulnerability classes, including injection, broken authentication/authorization, CSRF, SSRF, XXE, XSS, and multi-stage pre-auth RCE chains across native C++, server-side JavaScript, web, and SOAP/REST surfaces.
