As we continue to grow our Bulgaria-based team, weā€™re hiring an experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to play a key role in shaping the future of our product. Working as part of a cross-functional squad, you'll design and deliver scalable, high-performance user interfaces that serve millions of users, while helping drive frontend best practices, performance, accessibility, and consistency across our platform.

What youā€™ll be responsible for:

  • Develop and maintain responsive user-facing features using React.js, React Native, and TypeScript.

  • Translate wireframes and design prototypes into high-quality, reusable code.

  • Build and maintain modular frontend components and libraries to promote consistency and scalability

  • Collaborate on frontend solutions across both web and mobile applications, ensuring performance, usability, and consistency

  • Manage complex data flows using Apollo and modern state management practices

  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and adopt emerging technologies

  • Optimise applications for performance across browsers, devices, and screen sizes

  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, including unit and UI integration tests

  • Collaborate closely with backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences

  • Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and agile ceremonies

  • Diagnose and resolve performance issues, bugs, and frontend reliability challenges

Work Mode & Salary:

  • Remote working within Bulgaria only. We do have an office in Plovdiv should you wish to work hybrid.

  • Gross annual salary: ā‚¬50,000 to ā‚¬56,000 based on experience.

Skills and experience required:

  • 4+ years of commercial experience building frontend applications with React

  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS

  • 1+ year of React Native experience (backed by a strong React and TypeScript foundation)

  • Experience working with Apollo or similar state and data management solutions

  • Proven ability to build reusable components and frontend libraries

  • Experience translating designs and wireframes into polished user experiences

  • Strong understanding of frontend performance optimisation techniques across web and mobile applications

  • Experience using Git and collaborative development workflows

  • Broad understanding of modern web architectures and development best practices

  • Exposure to AI-enabled development tools and workflows

Interview Process

  • Online interview with the Senior Talent Advisor

  • 75-minute technical interview with Engineering Leads

  • 45-minute final interview with the Director of Engineering
