Job Summary: The Field and Workshop Service Technician is responsible for performing hands-on mechanical maintenance, overhaul, and troubleshooting operations both onsite (field services) and within the local repair shop environment. This role focuses on executing high-precision technical services for industrial and wind gearboxes. The ideal candidate combines strong mechanical expertise with a commitment to strict operational safety and quality standards, ensuring maximum reliability for our clients' drive solutions. Job Responsibilities: Disassembly & Cleaning: Execute the safe and structured disassembly and thorough cleaning of wind and industrial gearboxes. Technical Inspection: Perform detailed dimensional and visual inspections of mechanical components (gears, bearings, shafts, and housings) to identify wear or failures. Assembly Operations: Reassemble Flender and Winergy gearboxes following global technical specifications, drawings, and quality procedures. Technical Reporting: Draft clear and accurate technical reports documenting inspection findings, measurements, and the maintenance steps performed. Field & Workshop Support: Execute maintenance routines both inside the workshop and at customer industrial sites or wind farms. Quality & Safety Assurance: Enforce strict adherence to corporate safety (HSE) protocols and quality guidelines during all mechanical repair procedures. Tool & Equipment Care: Properly utilize and maintain precision measurement tools, hydraulic equipment, and workshop assets. Required Knowledge, Skills, Education, and Experience: Education: Technical Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related industrial technical disciplines. Language Proficiency: Intermediate English (ability to read technical documentation and understand manuals). Technical Expertise: Proven experience in mechanical maintenance, disassembly, and assembly of heavy machinery or rotating equipment (experience with gearboxes is a plus). Software Skills: Solid proficiency in the Microsoft Office Package (Word, Excel, Outlook) for report writing and data entry. Core Competencies: Detail-oriented, team player, proactive problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to workshop safety.
