Job Description: Location: Sioux Falls, SD Company: PREMIER Bankcard About the Role Oversees a team of developers responsible for creating, maintaining, and updating application programs and systems. Coordinates the work of subordinate developers and ensures adherence to programming quality standards. Provides training in programming techniques, with a focus on automating, maintaining, and enhancing existing manual procedures, programs, software, and systems. Engages in problem analysis and system design as part of the program development process. Job Duties and Responsibilities Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Investigates and resolves significant issues on behalf of management related to PREMIER enterprise CRM applications, API specifications and implementations, data schema, and documentation of all processes. Perform tasks that substantially impact business operations across multiple internal and external PREMIER applications. This includes analyzing information requirements and specifications for systems construction and maintenance to ensure efficiency, data security, and the adoption of new technology platforms. The low code platforms, databases and tables may be highly complex and extensive. Completes major assignments that affect business operations through various internal and external systems, API’s, including databases and tables. Participate in planning both long-term and short-term business objectives. Coordinates the completion of department projects and outstanding Internal Program Requests, organizing the workflow among team members. Ensures that Internal Programming Requests are implemented smoothly and without disruption by participating in software releases. These assignments directly relate to the expected performance of general business operations. Completes or delegates the completion of Help Desk tickets. Assist developers with questions regarding PREMIER technology stack and proper coding standards. Ensures developers adhere to a stringent Software Development Life cycle (SDLC) , Agile Methodologies, Enterprise strategies, and provides coaching as needed to ensure compliance. Ensures that each employee has the necessary training and resources to perform their job duties efficiently and effectively. Reviews, monitors, and tests of the functionality and performance of work assigned to subordinate developers, including IPRs and projects. Resolves operational production problems where there are no clear precedents. Provides feedback and further direction to developers as needed. With guidance from management, monitors and evaluates individual employee performance, delivers performance reviews, recommends salary adjustments, and addresses employee issues, concerns, and future development. Ensures adherence to department and company policies and procedures. Presents recommendations or solutions to outstanding or potential issues under the guidance of their superior. Ensure work rules and attendance standards are consistently met. Accurately completes reports detailing work time spent on individual IPRs or projects. Conducts tasks in compliance with all consumer protection regulations, ensuring no harm to consumers. Interviews, recommends for hire, provides training, and supports staff. Provides constructive and timely performance reviews. Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy. Skills and Qualifications Enhanced computer skills, including multiple coding languages and knowledge of processing, data transmission software, low code platforms and API development. Proficiency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to concentrate, work independently, and pay attention to detail. Analytical and problem-solving skills, including logical thinking. Capacity to learn, adapt to change, and become proficient quickly. Ability to exercise self-control, adhere to company policies, and uphold company values. Facilitates the flow of work within and between work units, meeting productivity requirements. Organizes and completes assignments or projects within the allotted time, ensuring all components are included. Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field preferred. 3+ years of experience in developing systems with API’s and/or low code Platforms like MuleSoft or PEGA preferred. One (1) year of progressively responsible management experience in an API, low code platforms, and database, preferred. Experience in AWS cloud-based implementation, preferred. Experience in observability tools like Datadog is preferred.
