What you will get: An agile career and a dynamic work culture An inclusive and ethical workplace Compensation programs that recognize high performance What you will do: Ensure the reliable operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment and facility systems through effective preventive maintenance programs. Lead troubleshooting and root cause investigations for critical equipment failures. Own and support Change Controls, CAPAs, Deviations, and Risk Assessments related to engineering systems Maintain engineering documentation, including equipment records, drawings, specifications, SOPs, etc. Act as the Engineering Subject Matter Expert (SME) during internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities that enhance reliability, compliance, efficiency, and sustainability What we are looking for: Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Biomedical, Industrial, or similar discipline) Experience in engineering roles within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, chemical, or other regulated industries Knowledge of equipment lifecycle management, project execution, and maintenance practices Experience working within GMP-regulated environments and quality systems Familiarity with computerized systems, automation technologies, or laboratory equipment is an advantage Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Excellent communication skills with excellent command of English and German, written and spoken About Lonza At Lonza, our people are our greatest strength.
