Systems Engineer II

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our Systems Engineering team. This role is ideal for a well-rounded professional with deep expertise in one or more domains and broad experience across storage, virtualization, Linux, cloud, and automation. You will play a key role in designing, modernizing, and supporting enterprise infrastructure while driving reliability, scalability, and automation. Key Responsibilities Virtualization & Hybrid Infrastructure Architect and support highly available on prem virtualization platforms Lead upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle management Drive modernization for scalability and performance Infrastructure, Storage & Business Continuity Manage enterprise storage systems supporting file and block. Design backup, DR, and replication solutions Lead recovery testing and improve resilience Linux Engineering & Platform Services Administer enterprise Linux platforms Establish standards for patching, security, and lifecycle Support complex troubleshooting and critical services Cloud & Platform Engineering Design and support solutions across 3 major cloud providers Build hybrid-cloud architectures and drive governance and cost optimization Automation & Infrastructure as Code Promote automation-first practices Develop solutions using Terraform, Ansible, Git, APIs, and CI/CD Reduce manual processes through scalable automation Observability, Reliability & Security Improve monitoring, alerting, and observability Partner on security, compliance, and vulnerability remediation Enhance platform reliability and performance Key Responsibilities Architect and support virtualization platforms; lead upgrades and migrations Manage enterprise storage and DR solutions Administer Linux environments and enforce standards Design and support cloud solutions across multiple public cloud providers; enable hybrid architectures Develop Infrastructure-as-Code and automation using Terraform, Ansible, Git, CI/CD Enhance monitoring, observability, and platform reliability Support security, compliance, and vulnerability remediation Required Qualifications 10+ years in Infrastructure, Systems, Platform, or SRE engineering Enterprise environment experience Proven solution design and implementation skills Strong troubleshooting across multiple domains Strong communication and collaboration Ability to balance strategy with hands-on execution Technical Experience VMware vSphere/ESXi, OLVM NetApp ONTAP and enterprise storage Backup, DR, and business continuity Linux (RHEL, Oracle Linux) Cloud (Azure, GCP, OCI) Terraform, Ansible, Git, CI/CD Monitoring, observability, and security practices Preferred Qualifications Retail or distributed environment experience Relevant certifications (NetApp, VMware, Red Hat, Cloud, Terraform) Python or PowerShell scripting Observability/logging platforms Exposure to AI/ML infrastructure concepts What Sets You Apart Strong systems thinking across infrastructure, cloud, and security Deep expertise with broad technical range Passion for solving complex challenges Focus on automation and continuous improvement Ability to lead, execute, and collaborate effectively Start Rate = $100,000 to $116,000 based on experience plus a 20% bonus and equity.
