This early career Engineering position allows you to grow your skills as a member of the System Validation team - a multi-disciplinary engineering development team that runs Wind turbine System Validation for Power Performance, Grid compliance, Loads, Operability, Thermal, Aerodynamics, Aeroelastics and Acoustics. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Support and drive product validation activities of Power Performance, Grid compliance, Loads, Operability, Thermal, Aerodynamics, Aeroelastics and Acoustics Travel to site to support and drive sensor installation, product testing and/or customer issues Test data analysis and documentation Participate in FMEA and risk assessment and root cause analysis activities Resolve field service cases and support failure investigations in the installed base Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited University. Ability and availability to travel up to 25% Ability to climb wind turbine towers of 160m hubheight Driver license, Class B Desired Characteristics Highly motivated, self-starter, energetic, positive, flexible in changing environments Ability to demonstrate a structured approach to problem solving, learning agility Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical problems in clear and simple terms Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in project teams in an international environment Hands on skills (for using test equipment both electrical and mechanical) Experience demonstrated through course work, internships, or other experiences: Wind Turbine Technology Experience is a strong plus but not required Power Systems, Data Science, Systems Engineering Passionate about renewable energy and/or sustainability Additional Information Relocation Assistance Provided: Yes Addressing the climate crisis is an urgent global priority and we take our responsibility seriously.
