Your Team: The Manager, Inbound Sales will lead a team of Inbound Sales Consultants who respond to customers and financial professionals seeking information and support related to Prudential’s annuity solutions. This role is ideal for someone energized by coaching sales talent, improving the inbound experience, and helping a team turn customer interest into meaningful sales opportunities. The current Employee Work Arrangement for this opening is Hybrid. The employee will work from one of our Prudential offices in Newark, NJ , Dresher, PA, or Shelton, CT. The employee will be required to attend mandatory onsite or offsite meetings and training. Employee Work Arrangements are determined by the business and may be adjusted for business reasons. It provides opportunities to strengthen coaching, strategic thinking, and cross-functional leadership skills that can support continued career growth within Prudential. What you can expect • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 10+ Inbound Sales Consultants. • Drive sales results across inbound customer and financial professional interactions. • Develop and retain top sales talent while fostering a strong pipeline for future sales opportunities across Internal Sales. • Help consultants identify customer needs and connect them with appropriate annuity solutions. • Strengthen consultative selling, product knowledge, and customer engagement. • Monitor team performance, sales activity, service levels, and development needs. • Create a collaborative, inclusive, and results-focused team culture. • Implement sales strategies and initiatives with Sales leadership and business partners. • Partner with Training to support onboarding and ongoing development. • Apply sales best practices to improve quality, productivity, and efficiency. • Anticipate staffing needs to support inbound sales demand. • Lead the team through business, product, and organizational change. • Represent Inbound Sales on cross-functional projects and initiatives. What you’ll need • Annuity product experience and knowledge. • Proven sales experience and a track record of strong results. • A passion for coaching, developing, and motivating others. • Demonstrated leadership experience or clear potential to lead a sales team. • Experience mentoring, training, or informally leading others. • Understanding of consultative sales and the financial services industry. • Ability to translate inbound interest into sales opportunities. • Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to use performance insights to coach and improve results. • Ability to lead through change and collaborate across teams. • FINRA Series 6 or 7 and Series 63 or 66. • Ability to obtain FINRA Series 24 or 26 and a state Life and Health license within 90 days of hire. It would be a plus if you have • Previous people-management or sales-team leadership experience. • Experience leading an inbound, internal, or contact-center sales team. • Advanced education or professional credentials, such as an MBA or CFP.
