Position Summary Join the Samsung Foundry Product Engineering team as a strategic leader at the critical intersection of fabrication and customer application. In this high-impact role, you will serve as the analytical nexus of our operations, spearheading the evaluation of next-generation products and driving the success of advanced technology test vehicles. By overseeing engineering margins and optimizing wafer sort evaluations, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that Samsung’s most ambitious process technologies transition seamlessly from the fab to the global market. We are seeking a visionary engineer to architect sophisticated failure analysis workflows and develop advanced yield learning models that transform complex data into actionable countermeasures. By leveraging your expertise in SCAN/SRAM diagnostics and physical failure confirmation, you will drive world-class yield robustness and operational efficiency. This is an opportunity to define the gold standard for quality and reliability, directly influencing the success of Samsung’s cutting-edge semiconductor roadmap and its most prestigious clients. Role and Responsibilities Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For: Leading edge product & technology development based on Samsung’s innovative process. Opportunity to learn the most advanced technology in semiconductor industry and develop best in class yield / chip performance. Collaborate with internal teams to successfully launch new products for customers. Leverage wafer sort (CP) data, wafer acceptance test (WAT) data, fabrication process, design rule, and product ATE knowledge to rapidly isolate root causes and resolve complex silicon issues. Skills and Qualifications Here's what you'll need: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience. Solid Foundation in Semiconductor / Device Physics & Circuit Fundamentals (Electrical Engineering Degree preferred)Understanding of ATE Fundamentals & Test Methodology (Wafer Sort, DFT, EFA, Characterization, Shmoo). Statistical Analysis & Data Literacy (Statistics, STDF / Parametric data analysis, CPK, JMP/Spotfire or similar experience). Structured Debug & Root-Cause Troubleshooting Mindset (Build Yield learning model, differentiate failure as test or process margin or defect). Cross-Functional Communication & Technical Ownership (data driven, actionable feedback to internal teams). The current base salary range for this role is between $131,000 - $174,500. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
