Job Summary: The Quality Technician is responsible for inspecting materials, components, and completed products to verify they meet established quality standards and specifications. This position works closely with production teams to identify quality concerns, document findings, and help maintain consistent product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect raw materials, components, work-in-process, and finished products according to established specifications.
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections to verify product quality and workmanship.
- Use measuring and inspection equipment to verify dimensions and product requirements.
- Perform ultrasonic testing (UT) and other applicable inspection methods as required.
- Identify, document, and communicate quality concerns to the appropriate production personnel.
- Review drawings, specifications, and work instructions to verify product requirements.
- Work with production teams to identify the cause of quality issues and support corrective actions.
- Complete inspection reports, quality records, and other required documentation accurately and timely.
- Assist with internal quality reviews and process improvement activities.
- Help monitor recurring quality issues and communicate trends to appropriate team members.
- Follow established quality, safety, and production procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in quality control, inspection, manufacturing, or a related field.
- Experience with ultrasonic testing (UT) is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret structural steel drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Experience using inspection and measurement tools such as tape measures, squares, calipers, and micrometers.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing quality processes and inspection practices.
- Ability to document inspection results accurately.
- Ability to work effectively with production personnel and other departments.
- Ability to work the assigned night shift and overtime as needed.
