Job Requisition ID # 26WD101368 Title: Data Evangelist & Communications Specialist Team: GDI Analytics Enablement Team Position Overview The GDI Analytics Enablement Team is seeking a Data Evangelist & Communications Specialist to lead the charge in promoting data literacy, fostering engagement, and communicating the value of customer intelligence across our global organization. This role will serve as the face and voice of our data and analytics initiatives, driving cultural change by inspiring teams to adopt data-driven decision making. You will collaborate closely with technical and business stakeholders, creating clear, compelling communications and initiatives that educate, motivate, and empower analysts and business users. As AI increasingly becomes part of how analytics is created, consumed and communicated, this role will help evolve the way GDI enables the organization. You will use AI-enabled tools to create and scale high-quality enablement and communications content, while helping stakeholders develop the skills and confidence to use AI to perform more of their own analytics work effectively and responsibly. You will also help develop and curate trusted GDI insights, business knowledge and analytical context in forms that can be understood by both people and AI. As AI tools and agents increasingly reason across enterprise data and knowledge, you will help ensure they have access to clear definitions, business context, analytical guidance and trusted insights that improve the relevance and quality of the answers they produce. Key Responsibilities Evangelize Data and Analytics: Act as a champion for data and analytics across the enterprise, promoting adoption of best practices, tools, certified data assets and standardised metrics and KPIs. Develop Communications Strategy: Craft and deliver clear, engaging communications that explain complex analytics concepts in a business friendly way. Create and Curate Content: Create and curate newsletters, blog posts, internal updates, success stories, learning content and other enablement assets that drive awareness and highlight impact. Leverage AI tools as part of the content development process to improve quality, tailor content to different audiences and scale the production and maintenance of enablement materials. Enablement Initiatives: Lead and support initiatives to increase awareness of the Analytics Enablement Program, including events, learning paths, and community forums. AI-Enabled Content Creation: Use current and emerging AI tools as part of the team’s day-to-day approach to creating, adapting and maintaining enablement, communications and learning content. Explore new ways to use AI to improve the quality, relevance, speed and scalability of Analytics Enablement activities while applying appropriate human review and judgement. Enable AI-Assisted Analytics: Help stakeholders use AI tools and agents to complete analytics work more effectively and independently. Develop practical enablement that helps users ask better analytical questions, provide appropriate context, interact effectively with AI, select suitable use cases, interpret results and critically evaluate AI-generated analysis and outputs. Create Context for AI Reasoning: Develop and curate GDI insights, analytical knowledge and business context so that it can increasingly be consumed by both people and AI. Partner with analytics and data teams to translate metrics, definitions, business concepts, analytical frameworks, interpretation guidance and trusted insights into clear, reusable context that helps AI tools and agents reason more effectively about GDI data and the business. Stakeholder Engagement: Work cross-functionally with analytics, data, and business leaders to ensure consistent messaging and advocacy around enterprise analytics initiatives. Support Learning & Onboarding: Collaborate with colleagues on enablement and technical documentation to enhance learning experiences and foster a culture of data literacy. Measure Impact: Maintain a feedback loop with stakeholders, define KPIs and track engagement to evaluate the effectiveness of evangelism and communications activities. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Data/Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of experience in a communications, marketing, enablement, or analytics role, ideally within a data-driven organization. Strong understanding of analytics concepts, data culture, and the challenges of data adoption in large organizations, and familiarity with Data Science concepts. Demonstrated practical experience using AI tools to improve the creation, synthesis, adaptation or delivery of communications, learning or analytics content, with the curiosity and willingness to continuously experiment with new capabilities as they emerge. Practical understanding of AI-assisted analytics and how users can work effectively with AI tools and agents, including framing analytical questions, providing appropriate context and instructions, iterating on outputs, and critically evaluating AI-generated analysis. Strong appreciation of the importance of trusted data, business context and human judgement in producing reliable AI-assisted analytics, with the ability to communicate these concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. An interest in how organizational knowledge, analytical insights, definitions and business context can be structured and communicated for consumption by AI tools and agents as well as by people. Experience developing AI-ready knowledge, context or content is an advantage. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English are essential, with the ability to translate technical content into compelling narratives. Comfortable with presenting data and storytelling using a variety of tools, ranging from PowerPoint to Power BI. SQL coding skills and experience with Snowflake is preferred. Experience producing high quality internal communications, newsletters, videos, presentations, or knowledge sharing content. Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and build trust with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A self-starter with creativity, initiative, and a passion for inspiring change. Experience and effective use of tools such as SharePoint, Canva, Qualtrics, Confluence, Slack, MS Teams and Zoom. Experience of Docebo Learning Platform is a plus. The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a dynamic, articulate, and creative communicator who is passionate about the power of data and analytics to drive business value. They are a natural storyteller who can translate complex data concepts into clear, engaging messages tailored to a variety of personas/audiences, from data-savvy analysts to non-technical business stakeholders. This person thrives in environments where they can connect people, ideas, and initiatives. They have a strategic mindset and can see the big picture while also managing the day-to-day execution of communications, content creation, and engagement efforts. With strong interpersonal skills, they’re able to build trust, foster community, and inspire data-driven thinking across the organization. They see AI as a fundamental shift in how analytics enablement is delivered rather than simply another technology to communicate. They are enthusiastic about using AI in their own work, curious about how it can help others perform analytics more independently, and thoughtful about how trusted GDI knowledge and insights can be made accessible to AI as well as people. They combine experimentation with sound judgement, recognising both the opportunities of AI-assisted analytics and the continued importance of trusted data, business context and critical evaluation. They’re proactive and resourceful, always seeking creative ways to increase visibility and adoption of analytics tools, best practices, and resources. They’re comfortable leading campaigns, writing blogs or internal newsletters, creating presentations, hosting events or forums, and partnering with both technical and business teams. Experience working in a data, analytics, or enablement-related field is a strong advantage, but just as important is their ability to communicate with clarity, influence others, and generate excitement around enterprise analytics initiatives. Key Characteristics of an Ideal Candidate Storytelling mindset with the ability to engage and inspire audiences Excellent writing and presentation skills, able to adapt tone for different stakeholders Strong collaborator who can work cross-functionally and influence without authority Energetic and positive advocate for data driven culture Organized and strategic, able to manage multiple communications initiatives at once Growth mindset, always looking to improve engagement and try new approaches Learn More About Autodesk Welcome to Autodesk!
