We have multiple opportunities for Project Engineers to join our Construction business in NSW, with opportunities suited to engineers experienced in either structures or earthworks. Whether your background is in structures, bulk earthworks or civil construction, we want to hear from you. You’ll join the team delivering Richmond Bridge Stage 2 and work across technically interesting construction packages on a major NSW infrastructure project. Rather than simply supporting delivery, you’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of your area of works, solve problems on site and contribute directly to project performance. Working closely with the Senior Project Engineer, Foreperson and the site team, you’ll play an important part in managing day-to-day engineering activities and supporting project outcomes. What you’ll do Take ownership of structures or earthworks packages, depending on your experience Support the planning and delivery of construction activities across the project Coordinate site works, subcontractors, plant, materials and resources to meet programme requirements For structures-focused roles, contribute to the delivery of bridge and associated structural works For earthworks-focused roles, contribute to bulk earthworks, road formation, drainage and associated civil works Prepare and manage documentation including ITPs, reports and project records Monitor progress, costs, programme and quality to support project performance Identify construction risks and work with the team to implement practical solutions Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams Work closely with experienced construction leaders while continuing to build your technical and project delivery capability What we’re looking for We’re interested to speak with Project Engineers who have hands-on construction experience in structures, earthworks or major civil infrastructure. You may already be working on a road, bridge, rail or major infrastructure project and be looking for your next opportunity to take on greater responsibility. You’ll ideally bring experience in one or more of the following areas: Bridge or structural construction Concrete structures, formwork, reinforcement or piling Bulk earthworks and cut-to-fill operations Roadworks, pavements, drainage or associated civil works Managing subcontractors and construction packages Planning, programming, quality and cost control in a live construction environment You’re confident working on site and enjoy being close to the construction. You take a practical, solutions-focused approach and can manage competing priorities without losing attention to detail. Just as importantly, you’re someone who wants to build things. You enjoy working with site teams, solving construction challenges and seeing your work take shape. You build strong relationships, communicate clearly and take pride in contributing to a high-performing team. This is a great opportunity to build your capability, gain exposure across complex projects and be part of a team delivering quality infrastructure outcomes. Join Fulton Hogan and be part of a team that’s delivering real outcomes for communities. If you’re looking to contribute to a project that makes a lasting difference, we’d love to hear from you. You’ll be supported by a team that values safety, teamwork and getting the job done right. Bring your experience, build your career, and help us shape infrastructure we can all be proud of.
