Join Us in Transforming Healthcare Education
At Joyce University, the work we do goes beyond the classroom; it’s a shared commitment to excellence, growth, and purpose. Since 1979, Joyce has been preparing people to serve as competent professionals, advance their careers, and pursue lifelong learning.
We are seeking a Marketing Manager to help tell the Joyce University story and bring our brand to life across digital platforms, creative campaigns, campus experiences, and community connections. In this role, you’ll lead our social media presence, create engaging content, manage day-to-day marketing requests, and develop creative materials that reflect who we are and what makes Joyce special.
You’ll collaborate with colleagues across the University, as well as agencies, freelance designers, and external vendors, to deliver thoughtful, high-quality marketing that connects with prospective students, current students, alumni, and our wider community. From capturing meaningful moments on campus to producing creative assets that support University initiatives, your work will help strengthen our brand and share the Joyce story in ways that inspire connection and engagement.
This is an opportunity to bring creativity, organization, and a strong sense of storytelling to a growing university where your work helps advance healthcare education and support the student journey.
What You'll Do
About half of your time will focus on social media, and the other half on helpdesk, creative, and vendor work.
Strategy and content
- Lead social media planning and execution, developing platform-specific strategies for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and emerging channels that grow our audience, engagement, and brand awareness, while balancing scheduled campaigns with real-time opportunities.
- Create, curate, and publish photo, video, and written content rooted in storytelling and our brand, capturing campus life, classes and labs, and student and alumni stories.
- Provide live coverage of key moments such as graduation, pinning ceremonies, and campus and community events, telling the story before, during, and after.
- Plan, manage, and maintain a content calendar that covers posts, stories, and reels.
- Monitor social media trends, audience conversations, and platform updates to spot timely, creative content opportunities.
- Monitor performance metrics and audience insights, measure campaign success, and recommend improvements to the content strategy.
Community management
- Own day-to-day community management: monitor channels and respond to comments, messages, and mentions promptly, in a friendly and on-brand voice.
- Build and engage our online community of prospective students, current students, alumni, and supporters.
- Route complaints, sensitive issues, and service questions to the right team members, and follow up until resolved.
- Keep profiles, bios, links, and branding current and consistent across all platforms.
Asset management
- Plan and run photoshoots and video shoots, including shot lists, scheduling, and talent releases.
- Organize and update digital assets so photo and video libraries and promotional materials are current and easy to find.
Helpdesk management
- Manage the marketing helpdesk or request queue: review, prioritize, assign, and close tickets on time.
- Set clear turnaround expectations and keep requesters updated on status.
Creative and advertising
- Design and produce ads for digital, social, print, and outdoor placements.
- Create marketing materials such as flyers, posters, brochures, signage, banners, and event graphics.
- Keep all creative consistent with brand guidelines.
Promotional merchandise (swag)
- Manage promotional merchandise from start to finish: source products and vendors, design branded items, request and review samples, and place orders.
- Track inventory, costs, and delivery timelines so swag is ready for events, campaigns, and campus needs.
Agencies, vendors, and events
- Coordinate agencies, freelance designers, and vendors, providing clear creative briefs and managing timelines and feedback so projects are delivered on time and on brand.
- Attend and support campus events alongside the team.
- Other duties as assigned.
