Airport Rental Agent – Sales & Customer Service

Budget Car and Truck Rental of Utah is hiring a dependable, customer-focused Airport Rental Agent for our Provo location. This position combines customer service, sales, and daily rental operations in a busy airport environment.

You'll help travelers with vehicle rentals, explain available options, process transactions, and ensure vehicles are ready for customers. The position requires availability for the 4:00 PM–12:00 AM shift, including weekends and Sundays.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers with rental reservations, vehicle selection, pickups, returns, and exchanges.
• Prepare rental agreements, process payments, and maintain accurate records.
• Explain rental options, upgrades, and optional protection products.
• Identify sales opportunities while providing excellent customer service.
• Address customer questions and resolve service concerns.
• Inspect vehicles and coordinate with fleet staff to maintain vehicle readiness.
• Follow company procedures and support daily airport operations.

Previous experience in car rental, retail sales, hospitality, hotel services, or customer service is helpful but not required. We provide training for motivated candidates.

Employment is contingent upon successfully completing applicable background and drug screening requirements. Driving history requirements apply, including no more than two accidents or driving incidents within the past three years. Applicants under 21 must have a clean driving record.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years old
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable with sales, multitasking, and working in a fast-paced environment
• Available to consistently work 4 PM–12 AM, including weekends and Sundays
