Job Title Senior Mechanical Engineer Job Description Job title: This role is primarily responsible for the mechanical design and system integration of the reloaded CT tube assembly. Your role: 1. Product Design & Integration (Primary Focus) Lead mechanical design and integration of the reloaded CT tube assembly Define interfaces, tolerances, and assembly architecture of the loaded tube Ensure system-level compatibility with CT system requirements Support design validation, test definition, and issue resolution 2. Integration with Loading Process (Interface Responsibility, NOT ownership) Ensure product design is compatible with tube loading process and assembly sequence Define key design constraints driven by loading and assembly requirements Collaborate with industrial engineering teams on: assembly feasibility interface alignment manufacturability constraints 3. Cross-functional Coordination Work closely with: system engineering manufacturing / industrial engineering quality & reliability Support problem solving across product–process interface 4. Validation & Risk Management Identify design risks associated with assembly and loading constraints Support verification and validation related to mechanical integrity and assembly robustness Quality & Compliance Ensure compliance with QMS, regulatory, and design control requirements Identify risks and drive corrective actions Support quality improvements and issue closure You're the right fit if: BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent 5+ years’ experience in precision mechanical design / system integration Experience in assembly design, tolerance stack-up, or equipment/mechatronic system preferred Experience with medical devices or high-precision equipment is a plus About Philips We are a health technology company.
