Regular or Temporary: Regular Language Fluency: English (Required) Work Shift: 1st shift (United States of America) Please review the following job description: Support a team responsible for technology solutions that meets business needs and satisfy data requirements of the Enterprise Fraud Management group. This role, which is focused on enabling Card Fraud Strategy Analytics team, is also engaged with many business and technology partners. A primary driver of success will be the ability to partner with upstream and downstream groups (users, providers & vendors), applications, architecture teams, technology tool teams. Consult and partner with the business product owners to understand the end goal and offer solutions and recommendations during the design. Must be adept at data discovery, source identification, profiling, data governance concepts, privatization, enterprise technology standards, ETL design, big data, cloud engineering concepts, reporting and analytic design, analytic tool platforms. Existing awareness of banking products, transactions, card fraud concepts is highly desired. Ability to establish relationships with Card Fraud Strategy and Fraud Management Teams and anticipate needs and values is key. Drive requirements elicitation process for work efforts of all size and complexity. Work in an indirect leadership capacity to influence collaboration, communication and outcomes of various initiatives. Lead work on all phases of systems analysis up to the enterprise level of the organization's business processes and systems. Provide project and portfolio management for smaller projects and business enhancements. Serve as a key liaison between line of business (LOB) and the Technology Delivery teams. Hands-on experience with Talend ETL and Snowflake data platform is required. Ability to analyze, understand, and convert existing Informatica and Ab Initio ETL workflows into Talend jobs is critical. Must have working knowledge of Snowflake architecture including databases, schemas, virtual warehouses and performance optimization, along with understanding of Medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers). ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. · Serve as a key liaison between the Technology Delivery team and LOBs. Perfect candidate will have hybrid, techno-functional mindset and background. · Collaborate with peer groups in Technology and LOBs to identify, document and communicate business needs and provide technology solutions. · Work closely with business stakeholders to understand business processes and strategies. · Establish project and work requests requirements using document, business process and workflow analysis. Ensure all stakeholders are involved in requirements gathering activities. · Facilitate requirements elicitation sessions and walkthroughs with appropriate stakeholders to plan, elicit, capture, analyze and validate business, functional and technical requirements · Work closely with Fraud and Enterprise Architects to perform current state analysis of existing business systems, applications and functions. · Understand the long-term business objectives and suggest strategies to meet those objectives and introduce technical innovations, as needed. · Develop and maintain effective working relationships with business process owners and other stakeholders to support documenting the acceptance criteria and a plan to facilitate user acceptance testing of a solution that meets the business requirements. · Prioritizing and requesting data capture in enterprise repositories (Data Lake, Snowflake) for analytic support, card fraud team needs. · Support Card Fraud Data Delivery Team with new initiatives, work on design and solutions (interim and long-term) to enable business partners to perform better analytics to fight fraud · Work with various vendors that supply data for Card Fraud needs, and support delivery of new initiatives and projects · Researching data – availability, sourcing, quality, relationships, lineage · Work with other Data Delivery teams to source data within the Enterprise. · Partners with engineers, data scientists, and the data office leadership to define and refine data architecture and technology choices. · Analyze existing Informatica and Ab Initio ETL codebases, document transformation logic, and convert them into scalable Talend ETL jobs. · Support migration and modernization efforts from legacy ETL tools (Informatica/Ab Initio) to Talend and Snowflake DB. · Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines to load and transform data into Snowflake, aligning with Medallion architecture layers (Bronze, Silver, Gold). · Optimize data pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency within Snowflake. · Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure data quality, governance, lineage, and reconciliation during ETL migration and transformation processes. Qualifications Required Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field with 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and training. 2. In-depth knowledge of information systems and ability to identify, apply, and implement IT best practices. Preferred Qualifications 1. Bachelor degree or equivalent experience to include six years of information technology experience with significant experience in software development 2. Management Experience planning, facilitating, eliciting, documenting and managing business, functional and technical requirements 3. Experience with Agile/Lean methodologies 4. Ability to interact with management, business staff, ADS and DTS personnel in order to gather, compile and exchange information on work requests/project requirements and negotiate disputes effectively 5. Strong presentation, verbal and written skills 6. Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, activities and tasks under time constraints 7. Ability to effectively interface with staff at all levels and resolve conflicts 8. Exceptional communication, teamwork and influencing skills that foster a collaborative and continuous-improvement environment 9. Excellent facilitation and organizational skills 10. Strong critical and analytical thinking and problem-solving skills 11. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products 12. Understand core systems, applications and technical platforms 14. Experience with Talend Data Integration and working experience with Snowflake cloud data platform is required. 15. Must have the ability to understand and interpret legacy ETL workflows (Informatica and Ab Initio) and translate them into modern Talend-based solutions. Strong understanding of ETL/ELT migration strategies is essential. Preferred Qualifications: 1. An understanding of current trends in technology 2. Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical data 3. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products 5. Excellent facilitation and organizational skills 6. Strong critical and analytical thinking and problem-solving skills 7. Experience with Data analysis and prior experience working with large datasets 8. Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, activities and tasks under time constraints 9. Experience working with transactional data, working knowledge of SQL, relational databases, understanding of ETL architecture and concepts, data integration concepts and big data concepts 10. Have working experience with Agile methodologies Experience implementing Medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold layers) in Snowflake or similar cloud platforms. Knowledge of Snowflake optimization techniques such as clustering, partitioning, query tuning, and cost optimization. Experience with Talend orchestration, scheduling, and end-to-end pipeline development. Familiarity with data lake migrations, cloud data platforms, and enterprise data modernization initiatives is preferred. 11. Experience working with transactional data, working knowledge of SQL, relational databases, working experience and understanding of ETL/ELT architecture and concepts, data integration concepts and big data concepts 12. Direct the engineering and deployment of delivery projects in accordance with specified technical requirements and schedules, including Agile methodologies. 13.Oversee the planning, design, engineering, testing and deployment of application projects in conjunction with a variety of resources, which may include Waterfall or Agile approaches. 14. Adapt plans to meet service and/or operational challenges. Identifies and resolves technical and business evolving needs from Card Fraud team based on new fraud attacks. 15. Fraud – understanding of financial fraud and the data required to identify and prevent different types of attacks.
