Entry Level Highway Engineer - Manchester, NH

Hoyle Tanner has an opening for an Entry Level Highway Engineer in our Ground Transportation Division. This position is based out of our Manchester, NH office.

You will:

• Design and preparation of calculations, plans and specification for State and Municipal Highway projects
• Complete assignments with direction from the Project Engineer or Project Manager
• Work as part of an integrated, multi-discipline team to solve technical challenges
• Use software and other tools to develop designs and organize work
• Gather, research and maintain engineering records including tests, drawings and field data
• May attend inspections, site visits and meetings with clients and contractors for highway projects under construction
• May be responsible for construction observation and limited administration
• Read and understand technical drawings and specifications
• Demonstrate strong writing and communication skills
• Increase knowledge through continuous learning within and outside the organization including pursuit of an advanced engineering degree and/or certification

Requirements

• BS in Civil Engineering (MS preferred)
• EIT/EI preferred, or ability to obtain
• 0-2 years of relevant experience
• Salary is contingent on experience
