Role Overview As a Mobile Device Management (MDM) Architect, you will design, engineer, and maintain enterprise mobile solutions that support RTX’s corporate devices and Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) environments. You will serve as a subject matter expert in mobile architecture, device management, and security, partnering with cybersecurity, infrastructure, vendors, and other technical teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable mobile services. What You Will Do Architect, design, and deliver enterprise mobile solutions, including technical blueprints, roadmaps, prototypes, and implementation plans. Provide expert guidance on mobile architecture and engineering across corporate devices and BYOD environments. Design, implement, and maintain mobile device management policies and security controls in partnership with cybersecurity teams. Provide technical expertise in MobileIron and Microsoft Intune, ensuring mobile solutions meet enterprise requirements. Manage vendor relationships, participate in vendor meetings, and address product issues and service delivery concerns. Troubleshoot complex incidents, identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and develop permanent solutions. Support the administration, maintenance, monitoring, backup, and contingency planning of messaging and collaboration technologies. Identify and implement improvements in service delivery, user experience, security, and operational efficiency. Use scripting and automation tools, including PowerShell, Python, Power Automate, and Microsoft Graph API, to improve mobile service capabilities. Coordinate upgrades, installations, integrations, and technical initiatives with infrastructure teams and stakeholders. Independently lead complex projects, manage competing priorities, and respond to ad hoc technical requests. Develop technical documentation and communicate solutions, issues, and recommendations to audiences with varying levels of technical expertise. Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field and 10+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree and 7+ years of relevant experience. A minimum of 7 years of experience architecting, deploying, and configuring enterprise mobile solutions. Experience with fault-tolerant and highly available architectures. Experience with MobileIron and Microsoft Intune. Experience managing vendors and coordinating technical activities with stakeholders and infrastructure teams. Willingness and ability to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation. Qualifications We Prefer Experience with enterprise Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions. Expert-level hands-Proficiency with Power Automate and Microsoft Graph API. Expert-level scripting skills using PowerShell, Python, or similar languages. Strong problem-solving, prioritization, facilitation, and collaboration skills. Ability to influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams to accomplish challenging goals. Experience with document control, technical documentation, and update management processes. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, including the ability to resolve complex issues in high-pressure environments. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical information to audiences with varying levels of seniority and technical expertise. Work Location This is a hybrid role, Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
