Budget Avis Car and Truck Rental of Utah is seeking a motivated, reliable team member to support our Cedar City airport rental operations. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys helping people, communicating with customers, and working in a fast-paced environment where every day brings something different.

As a Car Rental Customer Service & Sales Representative, you'll assist customers with vehicle reservations, rental agreements, payments, and optional services. You'll also help coordinate vehicle readiness, inspect rental cars, and keep daily operations running efficiently. This position offers a mix of customer interaction, sales opportunities, office responsibilities, and hands-on fleet support.

Your Role on the Team

Customer Service & Rental Sales

• Help customers choose rental vehicles that fit their travel plans and transportation needs.
• Review reservations, prepare rental agreements, and explain rental terms and vehicle policies.
• Present available upgrades, protection products, and additional services based on customer needs.
• Handle payments, answer questions, and assist with customer concerns professionally.
• Maintain accurate rental records and enter transaction information into company systems.

Vehicle Readiness & Branch Support

• Inspect vehicles for existing damage and record their condition during check-in and check-out.
• Help prepare rental vehicles for upcoming reservations by checking cleanliness and overall readiness.
• Communicate vehicle availability and service needs with other team members.
• Maintain an orderly rental counter, customer service area, and vehicle work areas.
• Follow established operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Assist with other branch activities as needed to keep the location operating smoothly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Customer service, sales, retail, hospitality, or rental-car experience is a plus
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working with customers in a busy airport environment
• Able to remain professional and composed when handling challenging situations
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Willingness to work weekends and other scheduled shifts
• Valid driver's license with a good driving history; no more than two incidents/accidents within the past three years
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Employment is subject to successful completion of a background check and drug screening
