[What the role is] As an Engineer/Executive Engineer/Senior Engineer (Electrical) at Changi Water Reclamation Plant, you will play a vital role in treating used water to produce high-quality NEWater and ensure safe discharge to the sea. Working alongside a team of engineers and contractors, you will implement various maintenance strategies to keep critical water treatment equipment running safely and efficiently. We are looking for motivated individuals to join us. Your main responsibilities are:   [What you will be working on] Work with engineers and contractors to perform predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance works safely for M&E and auxiliary equipment in used water treatment processes. Assist supervisor to devise maintenance plan and budget, procure essential spares, monitor spares inventory and utilisation of expenditures Respond to equipment abnormalities and carry out SOP when required. Utilise enterprise systems such as the Asset Management System for procurement, contract management, asset and inventory management Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on improving safety, efficiency, and equipment reliability Manage and implement maintenance contracts to ensure works performed by contractors are executed according to objectives and within budget [What we are looking for] Degree in Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent Able to work independently and a good team player Able to respond to urgent situations outside normal working hours Comfortable with working in used water environment and physically able to perform site works Familiarity with predictive maintenance technologies such as partial discharge and its basic application for equipment maintenance will be an advantage Work Location Changi Water Reclamation Plant http://jobs.careers.gov.sg The Singapore Public Service plays a key role in the economic growth, progress and stability of Singapore by formulating and implementing government policies, as well as providing key public services.
