Zayo is seeking an Order Specialist, Sales Velocity to support the Sales organization by translating pricing, technical, and customer requirements into accurate inquiries and service orders. This role manages order creation and changes, maintains account and opportunity data across Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Salesforce, and partners cross-functionally to resolve issues and ensure a seamless handoff to implementation teams. The Order Specialist plays an important role in maintaining data accuracy for sales, commissions, revenue, churn, and other business reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, responsive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Location: Remote within the United States. RESPONSIBILITIES: Create, process, manage, and close sales opportunities, inquiries, and service orders accurately and within established Service Level Agreements. Review orders for completeness, accuracy, approved pricing, promotions, discounts, and required documentation; resolve missing or conflicting information prior to submission. Ensure orders comply with established quality, contractual, policy, and regulatory requirements. Validate that customer and sales requirements are accurately reflected in quotes, bids, and order documentation. Determine the appropriate system and workflow for each order and ensure seamless handoff to implementation teams. Partner with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Pricing, and other internal teams to create accurate client-facing quotes and service orders. Create and maintain accurate customer, account, opportunity, and order data across Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Salesforce. Partner with Reporting and Analytics to reconcile data across systems and support accurate sales, revenue, churn, and commission reporting. Troubleshoot order and account issues, coordinate cross-functional resolution, and manage escalations through completion. Communicate professionally with internal teams and external customers to research issues, gather required information, and provide timely resolutions. Provide real-time support to Sales and other internal teams, including CRM navigation, reporting, data, and order-processing assistance. Maintain strong knowledge of Zayo products, services, order requirements, systems, and non-standard processes; complete required training or certifications as applicable. Accurately document relevant customer and internal communications in designated systems. Identify and recommend opportunities to improve order efficiency, data quality, automation, integrations, and bulk-processing capabilities. Serve as a Sales liaison and business-process subject matter expert for relevant system and process enhancements. Stay current on telecommunications industry trends, technologies, and changes that may impact order processing or customer requirements. Participate in departmental initiatives and other related duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree or higher in business or a related field Minimum of three (3) years Customer Service or Sales Support experience Minimum of two (2) years of telecommunications industry experience Microsoft Office and database proficiency Salesforce experience KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Communication and active listening Cross-functional collaboration Conflict resolution and problem-solving Ability to learn technical products/processes Organization, prioritization and attention to detail Ability to work independently and collaboratively Adaptability in a deadline-driven environment Estimated base salary range: $61,100 - $94,000 USD/annually #LI-Remote The base pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role. It takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted range based upon geographic location, work experience, skill level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Non- sales roles may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive plan. Sales roles may be eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan. Additionally, this position may be eligible for certain benefits, such as health insurance, life insurance, disability retirement plans, paid time off.
