Job Description Role: Microsoft Developer Job Summary As a member of the IKO ERP Development team, the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) using X++. This role involves analysis, coding, debugging, testing, deployment, and ongoing support of our global Dynamics 365 F&O environment. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional technology teams, Business Analysts, end users, and IT project leadership to deliver scalable, reliable solutions that meet business requirements. Develop and maintain customizations and extensions using X++, following Microsoft development standards and best practices. Create and extend forms, tables, data entities, classes, workflows, and SSRS reports. Implement business rules, validations, workflow automation, and scalable ERP application enhancements. Perform technical analysis and provide effort estimates for development tasks, projects, requirements, and proposed solutions. Develop, maintain, and support integrations using OData, REST APIs, Data Management Framework (DMF), Azure services, and other enterprise systems. Coordinate and test interfaces with external applications, troubleshooting and resolving integration-related issues. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues to improve system performance, stability, and user experience. Support ERP implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and ongoing application maintenance. Monitor and respond to development requests and incidents logged through the Service Desk. Coordinate with external vendors for issue investigation, reporting, and resolution. Manage code deployments across development, sandbox, and production environments using Azure DevOps pipelines and controlled release processes. Collaborate with functional teams, Business Analysts, and other developers to deliver stable, scalable, and supportable solutions. Contribute to technical documentation, solution design, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives. Additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics ERP development, including hands-on development using X++. Strong experience developing and customizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O). Relevant Microsoft Dynamics AX development experience will also be considered. Experience creating and extending forms, tables, classes, data entities, workflows, and SSRS reports. Experience with Dynamics 365 F&O development tools, extensions, debugging, testing, and application lifecycle management. Experience with REST APIs, OData, Data Management Framework (DMF), and ERP integration patterns. Hands-on experience using Azure DevOps for source control, build management, deployments, and controlled release processes. Experience working in enterprise or global ERP environments. Exposure to ERP implementations, upgrades, cloud migrations, or enterprise application support. Understanding of ERP business processes, including Finance, Supply Chain Management, and Operations. Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, coding, debugging, testing, documentation, deployment, and support. Ability to develop extensions following Microsoft best practices, including minimizing over-layering and maintaining upgrade compatibility. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and documentation skills. Nice-to-Have Qualifications Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse. Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV, including AL or C/AL development. Experience with Azure-based integrations and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD). Experience developing or supporting reporting solutions, including Power BI or Jet Reports. Experience supporting global ERP deployments across multiple business units or geographic regions.
