Raytheon is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer- Test Automation with a proven track record in the design, development, and integration of System Test Equipment (STE) for complex RF and Microwave products, including associated test software. What You Will Do: Support Hardware and Software design and equipment selections, develop Special Test Equipment (including validation & certification), conduct testing and integration, and see the product development through production & post-production technical support phases Create and present technical data packages for program management during regularly scheduled meetings as well as various design reviews Test high frequency circuits ranging from baseband to millimeter wave This role requires the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, production‑driven environment. Travel to vendor and subcontractor locations will be required on occasion. Qualifications You Must Have: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) Minimum of 5 years of experience in the design, development, and integration of STE for complex electrical products, including test software development. Experience with software tools such as C, C++, Visual C, MATLAB, LabVIEW, Python, LabWindows/CVI, NI TestStand, or comparable platforms. Experience with RF Test equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, scalar analyzers, signal generators, noise‑figure meters, Data Acquisition Systems (DAQ), oscilloscopes, and/or power meters. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance post-start is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Qualifications We Prefer: Experience in the design, testing, troubleshooting, and failure analysis of Microwave Integrated Circuits (MICs), Integrated Microwave Assemblies (IMAs), Radio Frequency Assemblies (RFAs), and/or RF Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) across L‑Band to Ku‑Band frequencies. Familiarity with version control software such as Git Ability to interpret customer requirements and translate them into test specifications. Ability to analyze and troubleshoot test equipment efficiently and accurately. The salary range for this role is 95,500 USD - 181,700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
