Associate with highly experience in Java Back-End to drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Cloud Technologies, and modern software engineering practices while leading a team of developers through the complete software development lifecycle. JOB RESPONSIBILITY Lead architecture, design, and development of enterprise-scale Java applications. Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing microservices. Define technical standards, coding guidelines, and best practices. Lead and mentor a team of backend developers through design reviews, code reviews, and technical coaching. Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, DevOps, QA, and Business Stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. Drive API strategy, integration design, and system interoperability. Ensure application performance, reliability, scalability, and security. Lead root cause analysis and resolution of production issues. Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and DevOps adoption. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend appropriate solutions. Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release management activities. Drive technical debt reduction and platform modernization initiatives. QUALIFICATION Requires a Bachelor Degree in Information Technology/Data Engineering or similar combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background and minimum of 8 -10 years software development experience with Java. EXPERIENCE 8 -10 years software development experience with Java. SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Strong expertise in Java 17+, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Hibernate, and Microservices. Experience with REST APIs and event-driven architectures. Hands-on experience with Kafka or other messaging platforms. Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Experience deploying and supporting applications in Azure, AWS, or GCP. Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps. Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and performance tuning. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
