Key Responsibilities Support specific project and program objectives as defined in the areas of responsibility, and that necessary preliminary activities (e.g., determination of outcomes, milestones, viability studies, and resource planning, among others) are completed. Support projects and programs assigned are completed in accordance with predetermined requirements, with specific attention to product/process specifications, project/program costs, resource utilization, and timeliness for completion. Ensures that all phases of project, program and/or process development are documented and that information required in other functional areas is reported, disseminated, or transferred, as appropriate. Ensures compliance with Company policies regarding Engineering/Lab notebooks, patents, confidentiality and safety. Undertake study of new technologies, as appropriate. Support data collection for materials & financial resources. Other Requirements: This position may require standing for extended periods of time, walking, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, lifting, the ability to distinguish between colors, the ability to work in an environment with noise that may be difficult for some individuals with sensitivity to noise, and the use of hand and power tools. Additionally, because this position also may involve working in a clean room, the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment such as coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields may be required. This individual contributor role serves as the primary coordinator for complex, customer-specific system configurations, ensuring all project milestones, deliverables, manufacturing requirements, and shipment commitments are achieved. The NSO Project Manager partners closely with the Business Management Operations (BMO) team, Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Planning, Quality, and Configuration Management organizations to manage project execution, mitigate risk, resolve issues, and ensure alignment between customer requirements and factory readiness. The role requires strong project management skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and the capacity to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority. Key Responsibilities Own end-to-end execution of assigned NSO projects from order release through shipment. Translate customer-specific requirements received through the BMO organization into executable manufacturing and project plans. Develop, maintain, and communicate project schedules, key milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and execution risks. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure engineering, manufacturing, material, quality, and configuration requirements are completed on schedule. Serve as the central point of coordination for project scope, schedule, configuration, and readiness activities. Drive execution of customer-specific configurations, engineering changes, BOM modifications, NSRs, CES requests, and other non-standard requirements. Assess and communicate the impact of project changes on delivery schedules, manufacturing readiness, and shipment commitments. Facilitate project reviews, readiness reviews, production status meetings, and issue resolution activities. Monitor project health and performance, identifying constraints and initiating recovery plans when commitments are at risk. Partner with Master Scheduling, Operations Management, and BMO teams to prioritize deliverables and maintain execution alignment. Lead risk identification and mitigation activities, ensuring project risks are proactively managed and escalated when necessary. Coordinate resolution of manufacturing, quality, material, and engineering issues affecting project execution. Support shipment readiness activities, including final test coordination, documentation reviews, and production release requirements. Maintain accurate project documentation, action-item tracking, schedule status, and project metrics. Provide timely status updates, risk assessments, and recovery plans to stakeholders and leadership. Identify and implement process improvements that enhance NSO execution efficiency, predictability, and customer delivery performance. Success in This Role Requires Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills. Ability to manage multiple highly customized projects simultaneously in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Knowledge of manufacturing operations, change management, configuration management, and production planning processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to influence stakeholders and drive accountability across multiple functional organizations. Proven ability to manage risk, resolve conflicts, and maintain commitments in highly dynamic project environments. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable. For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
