Position Summary Under the direction of the Chief Operating Officer, the Program Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and compliance of assigned locations. The Program Manager is accountable for program quality, staff supervision, operational oversight, financial performance, and regulatory compliance across their portfolio. This position acts as the primary decision-maker and escalation point for staffing, program, and compliance matters while maintaining strong relationships with families, government, and professional services. Work Hours: Full Time Must be able to flex work hours based on position needs Participation in an on-call rotation Starting Salary: $58,760.00 per year Employer-Paid Benefits: Extended health care Dental care Vision care Life coverage Maternity and parental leave top-ups Employee and Family Assistance Program Additional Benefits: 4 weeks’ vacation available as accrued 6 wellness days Optional RRSP and TFSA plans Registered Pension Plan with employer-matching contributions after one year Long-term disability coverage Paid mileage Employer-paid training and development opportunities Role & Responsibilities Ensure consistent, high-quality program delivery across all assigned locations Provide leadership, supervision, and performance management to staff Conduct regular reviews, audits, and evaluations of program quality and documentation Maintain oversight of individual care to ensure alignment with plans and best practices Ensure compliance with DASCH policies, licensing standards, and employment regulations Review and approve incident reports and ensure appropriate follow-up and resolution Identify risks, trends, and compliance issues and implement corrective actions Maintain accountability for budgets, financial reporting, and resource allocation Serve as the primary contact for families, case workers, and external service providers Lead and attend meetings (IPP/PATH, medical, licensing, etc.) Provide direction and support to Senior Direct Support Professionals Ensure clear expectations for operations, documentation, and quality of care Participate in an on-call rotation and act as the escalation point for operational issues Skills & Qualifications University degree in a related discipline and/or Certificate in Community and Disability Support with significant leadership experience Minimum five (5) years of leadership and/or management experience Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Sound knowledge of intellectual disabilities and service delivery Ability to lead, coach, and manage staff performance effectively Valid Manitoba Class 5 Driver’s License with access to a vehicle At DASCH we promote an inclusive, and diverse workplace.
